Our recent social Meeting. The minutes held on the minutes page

 FoBS Seasonal Social Meeting

 The social meeting was great fun. Perhaps we should hold more that way!

As you may know, the plan was to meet at the Oriental Bar, it was booked and they were quite excited to have the propsect of a large crowd. Shock - the bar was closed, no lights, it loked like the Mary Celeste! not that i am that old. So a quick bit of fiddling with Liam's posters and a jumbo pen from Jo, we changed to the Robin Hood as the Lion was full (also it was football according to Jo). the robin found us a nice large table and jo found a new member - welcome martin- on the way. we then proceeded on the first of many large round of drinks, the pub produced a large tin of chocolates and we even had a live singer as backing track at no additional cost!

The meeting progressed and the minutes went well, they are on the minutes page. At the end of the meeting we decided that we would enjoy the hospitality of the bar. Please note - I have been asked for the photgraph taken of Tony. So in thename of good fun and with a donated comment of "Tony stuck for words!" - oh it's a camera 'phone - sorry!
